Orgullo y Honor

TFC-087

Oberture

Orgullo y Honor (Pride and Honor) was composed in 2011 to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the birth of San Vicente del Raspeig as a city. This work was commissioned by the City Council, for its release was required the collaboration of a symphony orchestra, a band a choir

We are facing an epic Oberture in which the broad sound of metals, percussion and wood instruments is compacted by a strings section. The contribution of the chorus is essential and represents the voice of the people, often anonymously, but always decisive in the development of San Vicente, which has grown to become one of the most dynamic cities in the Valencian Community in Spain.
